I'm sorry I just love cats!
And I really respect anyone that can control an animal enough to take pictures like these. I miss my cat so much.

I'm editing the pictures from the hockey game last weekend
and this is the happiest I've been with my photography since I've been here.
Don't get me wrong, I think I've taken some pretty nice photos and I'm happy with what I've done, but this is what I want to do with my life. Being that close to a sports game and watching it through the lens of a camera, it just makes me so happy. Granted, I made a few mistakes with my ISO, so this is gonna take some editing, but I'll be sure to post some shots once they're ready.

I miss the Bruins.

If you went back in time
and told my 14 or 15 or 16 year old self that I was going to be majoring in photography, I probably would have laughed. I'm thinking back, and I can't remember when this decision occurred. I'm glad it did, but I wish I could remember that definitive moment when I told myself I was going to be a photographer.

This is going to be my job someday.
Someday, someday soon, another 18 year old will be sitting in their college photography class, looking at my sports photography. This is going to be my life soon. I'm going to be that person you see on the sidelines of basketball games and in the seats next to the dugout at baseball games, sticking my camera where it doesn't belong, in danger of flying bats and balls and bodies. No one understands how excited I am. I need this.
I want whatever lens this is.
Having an Olympus sucks.
This is my friend Meghan. This was her profile picture on facebook for a while and I love it.
I went through a phase when I put borders around all of my photographs.
My sister, Maeghen.
My best friend, Amy.

My street.
Mufasa.
Steve.
Jacoby Ellsbury, Boston Red Sox.
I miss my muses.
Thanksgiving cannot come soon enough. Not because I want to get out of Rochester, but because there is nothing I love more in this world than the look Danny (first picture) has on his face when I turn on my camera. I don't know that any toddler will ever react the same way he does. The kid is a model, I swear - that or a budding photographer. He is my favorite thing to shoot.
